Global Waves is a radio show for the citizens of the world, for those who believe we live in one world that we need to share and care for.
The show covers trends and challenges that us, humans, face. From the risk of a nuclear war to global warming, migration, poverty, suicide and other cancers that we see affecting people all over the world.
From a migrant and minority perspective the show acknowledges and celebrates the contributions of migrants all over the world and showcases the challenges that diversity pose on our societies.
The show would also cover the local responses to comments, policies and trends around ethnic and religious minorities, aiming to enable discussion towards achieving a more inclusive society.

Silvana is the host of this show, Journalist by her studies and Community Worker by profession she has a keen interest in politics, human rights and communities.
