Superhero Chalk Fest 2017

 

We're taking over Civic Square once again for the annual Chalk Fest chalk art festival.  Individuals and groups are invited to take part by creating chalk art in the central city.  It?s all happening on Saturday 04 March from 10-2. 

 

With plenty of prizes up for grabs and a $100 cash prize for the overall winner, it?s easy to join in the fun.  Free to enter, all the chalk is provided so just turn up with some creative ideas!  The first drawing competition starts at 10.15 and a second at 11.30 both with lots of prizes available.  Alternatively you can create something in our themed Superhero area where a range of spot prizes will be given away.  Chalk Fest will run adjacent to the Htwn Skate Project?s pop up Skate Park in Worley Place.  Enjoy DJs on Worley Place or live musicians at the Chalk Fest. 

 

The event is run in conjunction with the Children?s Day Carnival in Garden Place which is even more reason to bring the family and join in.  With inflatables, entertainment, market stalls, under 5?s area, rides and the skate park there really is something for everyone.
